Let me get the awkward part out of the way. I built ChargebackWiz, so I'm not neutral. Read this as one founder's honest map of the choice, not a review.

And I'll say something most comparison pages won't: for some stores, Chargeflow is the better pick. I'll tell you exactly which ones.

Both tools do the same core job. A dispute opens on your store, the app pulls your order data, builds an evidence response, and submits it before the deadline. Both charge success fees instead of forcing a subscription.

The differences are in fee level, focus, and stage.

Where Chargeflow is genuinely strong

Scale and track record. They've processed disputes for years across thousands of merchants, and that data feeds their evidence engine. If you're doing enterprise volume, have disputes across many payment platforms at once, or want a vendor with a large support team, that maturity is worth real money. Choose them for that. No hard feelings.

Where we're different

  1. Fee level. Our 18% vs their 25%. On $10,000 of recovered revenue a year, that is $700 staying with you.
  1. Shopify-only focus. We're not spreading across ten platforms. Every feature is built around how Shopify Payments disputes actually flow — the webhook arrives, evidence assembles from the order, tracking, AVS/CVV and customer history, and auto-pilot submits before the deadline.
  1. Honest automation controls. You set the Win Score threshold. Strong case, auto-submit. Weak case, you can auto-refund instead of paying to fight a likely loss. Your rules, visible in settings.
  1. Size, honestly framed. We're early. You won't get a 50-person support org. You'll get fast product changes and, frequently, answers from me personally. Some merchants want that. Some don't. Both are valid.

What I won't claim

I'm not going to tell you our win rate beats theirs. We don't publish win rates yet, because our data set is still too small for an honest number. When we have one, it'll be on the site with the methodology next to it.

And if you're happy with Chargeflow, switching costs you setup time and re-learning. A 7% fee difference only matters if the product also does the job. Test us on a few disputes first.

Who should pick what

Pick Chargeflow if: you're enterprise volume, multi-platform, need the biggest team behind you, or want years of aggregated data working on your disputes.

Pick ChargebackWiz if: you're a Shopify merchant who wants the same automation at 18% instead of 25%, full control over what gets submitted, and a product that treats Shopify as the whole world rather than one integration among many.

Either way: automate your disputes. The merchants losing the most money are the ones responding manually at 11pm the night before the deadline, or not at all.
